Diaverum has opened its first renal care clinic in Bishkek, marking the beginning of its operations in Kyrgyzstan and expanding access to high-quality dialysis treatment in Central Asia.
The opening of the new clinic is the result of a public- private partnership with the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, offering state-funded for eligible patients. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to expanding access to specialist, life-sustaining renal care and addressing the growing burden of chronic kidney disease (CKD) in the country.
Dialysis treatment in Bishkek
The new Bishkek clinic will initially operate 15 dialysis stations across three shifts from Monday to Saturday. Its capacity may expand to 20 stations over time, allowing the clinic to support more patients as demand develops.
Patients will receive care from trained local healthcare professionals supported by Diaverum’s international clinical standards, governance and more than 35 years of experience in renal care.
Diaverum’s model of patient-centred care is designed to support a range of kidney care needs, including:
- Haemodialysis
- Preventive kidney care
- Coordination of other health conditions affecting patients
Supporting patients living with chronic kidney disease
Chronic kidney disease is a significant health challenge in Kyrgyzstan, reinforcing the need for accessible and reliable renal care services.
Guided by Diaverum’s True care culture, the Bishkek clinic will combine clinical expertise with compassionate, individualised support. Our goal is to help patients receive safe and consistent treatment while supporting them to live fulfilling lives.
The opening also establishes a foundation for Diaverum to work alongside Kyrgyzstan’s healthcare authorities, professionals and communities on kidney protection, earlier intervention and slowing the progression of chronic kidney disease.
